Introducing Poppy Hop, by Cindy Lindgren

One of the exciting things about Modern Yardage is that each month a new fabric collection is featured, and we get to see projects and ideas made with these beautiful fabrics. This month Modern Yardage is featuring Cindy Lindgren's Poppy Hop Collection. This cute puppy bed was made by the wonderful Melissa Pederson who owns the Linden Tree Shop, which is a family and a second home to Cindy in Minneapolis.

I made this fun bag out of a pattern by Kay Whitt at Sew Serendipity Lola Gypsy Bag without the ruffles. I used Cindy's Link print in orange and love the fresh look. I also love this e-reader case in Taupe. It was made by Carole Youngren.

So many other fun bags and accessories can be made from these prints.

Placemat and napkin made by Carole Youngren.

Shower curtain made by Carole Youngren.

This lovey girl's reversible skirt is another fun project! This skirt was also made by Carole Youngren. The pattern is by Oliver & S. It is the Hula Hoop Skirt.

  1. The Poppy Hop Pillow Panel in Tangerine is gorgeous. Great idea to use it as a placemat!

Where is the reversible skirt from?

  2. The girl's skirt was sewn by Carole at The Linden Tree Shop. They are my 'fabric family' and help me make wonderful items from my designs. The skirt pattern is from Oliver & S, Hula Hoop.
